Plastic articles | Polyethylene film LATEST CORROSION-PROTECTION TECHNOLOGIES ZERUST™. VAPOR-PHASE INHIBITORS The joint-venture between MostNIK and Avanguard was especially established for the purpose of production and distribution of products manufactured on the basis of special technology of vapor-phase corrosion-protective inhibitors of ZERUST, at the Russian market. Northern Technologies International Corporation (USA) is the designer and producer of corrosion inhibitors, using vapor-phase agents, created based on NTIC formulae of organic matter chemistry technologies. The volatile corrosion inhibitors are loaded into plain packing polyethylene film, maintaining its physical properties: sealing temperature, strength, etc. Industries use ZERUST products to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals and various alloys. These products offer a new, economically viable and flexible approach to packing of dry metal products. The economic viability is provided due to the absence of protective coatings and costs of labor involved in application and removal of protective coats. As a result, ZERUST-packing materials started driving out the traditional methods of conservation, like oils and lubricants. Corrosion inhibitors in the film protect the metal articles and resist expose to hazardous impact of humidity, salts, and atmosphere-contained contaminants that form in the process of production, transportation and many years of storage life. ZERUST-packing does not require air-tight sealing. Metal goods are ready for further industrial processing all the year round. The goods do not change their properties and/or the appearance, which is important for the articles designated for long-term storage and transportation. PHYSICAL AND TECHNICAL PROPERTIES OF ZERUST™ CORROSION-PROTECTIVE FILM
* All indicated data refer to ZERUST™ anti-corrosion film with a thickness of 100 µm.
Destruction: the film is destroyed via recycling, burning, and burial of waste at disposal dumps.
* In cases of technical impossibility to protect these metal individually, via the use of × and Ö types of film. |
